The past few weeks have been somewhat of a blur. Aside from being extremely busy at work, I had to deal with closing the sale of our house in California and getting everything moved out of there – right in the middle of the weekend of Thanksgiving! And just a week later, on December 8th, we got our keys to the new house that we bought in Bellevue! I’m very excited about the new house mainly because it has a big, flat backyard (and even a fancy play structure) which the kids love and which my wife used to frequently complain about not having at our old house. The house also has a family room and bonus room that we didn’t have in our previous house or the house before that. As if that wasn’t enough to make my wife happy (alright, me, too), we’re renovating the bathrooms and a few other things before moving in. I can hardly wait to step onto the heated master bathroom floor and use the “shower tower” every morning! We’re hoping to move in by mid February.
